Processing can mean collecting, recording, organising storing, sharing or destroying data.
We are committed to being transparent about why we need your personal data and what we do with it. This information is set out here, and we also make clear what your rights are with regard to your data. You are entitled to opt out of data sharing. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Richard Farrer on 01482 844038 or by email to temenos1@hotmail.co.uk.
Data comprises: Basic details and contact information, such as name address, telephone number, email and emergency contact.
Staff details are held securely on the premises and not retained once that person leaves the organisation. None of this will be shared without permission.
NHS Talking Therapies client details are recorded on the IAPTus system which is managed by City Health Care Partnership (CHCP) who also manage the service to which we are contracted. Clients who wish to have access to their records can make a written request to CHCP for this. No one who does not have a valid need to access these records is able to do so. You are asked at your initial assessment if you are willing for information to be shared. If you decide you are no longer willing for this, call the office or tell your therapist and your record will be amended to reflect this.
We offer an Unplanned Pregnancy Counselling Service for Hull Women’s and Children’s hospital. Paper records are raised and kept securely.
Data relating to any person accessing our services privately are gathered by the therapist with whom they are working, and kept securely in accordance with our code of practice.
